Breastfeeding bride goes viral
It takes an amazing bride, and even an amazingly supportive husband, to do what Christina Torino-Benton did during her June 18 wedding ceremony. Her nine-month old daughter began to cry and she did what she would do in any other moment when her daughter needed her… She took baby Gemma into her arms and fed her. The breastfeeding bride was caught in a beautiful photo that has since gone viral.
“I made it work… I had to!” Christina told The Huffington Post. “Danny has always been so incredibly supportive on this breastfeeding journey, so he just nodded in agreement.”
The Canadian mom said no one blinked an eye or was surprised by her actions and the priest simply carried on with the ceremony. She shared the photo by Lana Nimmons on the Breastfeeding Mama Talk Facebook page and says she has received so much positive feedback.

Mom shares moving moment of breastfeeding baby with cancer
Anastasia Pittis’s daughter, Xenia, was born with stage 3 brain cancer and underwent surgery, followed by chemotherapy. Anastasia chose to share this photo on Breastfeeding Mama Talk’s Facebook page of herself feeding six-month old Xenia.
“The reaction has been pretty incredible,” Anastasia told Babble. “I was really surprised that the picture got so much attention and that others were being so supportive.”
The comments have included everything from fellow motherhood support to stories from cancer survivors or former cancer parents. Currently Xenia’s health is on the upswing, according to Anastasia.
Mom breastfeeds after breaking leg in motorcycle accident
A Brazilian mom on a motorcycle shocked many when the images and video of her breastfeeding her baby began to spread online. It was not just that the woman was feeding the child on the scene of the accident, but that she was doing so with a broken leg. Read more here.

Emily Webber’s photo of her feeding her daughter caught a big reaction thanks to baby’s father behind Emily, of all things, blow drying her hair. Emily added to the comments of the photo posted on Breastfeeding Mama Talk’s page, “And the best part is I didn’t even ask — he offered!”
