Hygeia is proud to be a WHO Code compliant breast pump company. Since our very first day, we have supported the World Health Organization Code (WHO CODE) on the marketing of breast milk substitutes and been compliant with the code.
We proactively promote the WHO Code because we believe that promoting breastfeeding increases breastfeeding duration and has a positive effect on breastfeeding in general. We further support international effort to improve mother and baby health outcomes and feel that this is best done through consensus decisions such as the World Health Organization.
We believe that breastfeeding is the normal way to feed human babies, and work every day to support moms in meeting their breastfeeding goals.
